Juicing day 2

So, it is successfully the second evening of our juicing challenge and I still have not managed to finish my ‘lunch’.

Therefore I can only present you with two pictures and recipes today.

Breakfast:

juicing 2 001

2 apples
1 beetroot
1.5 red bell pepper (I had one huuuuuge one!)
1/2 lemon juice

THIS IS AMAZING! Seriously guys!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH! I found this recipe from there –ย http://www.juicemaster.com/recipes/juices/pepper-punch but didn’t have a yellow pepper so just used up my red one. It tasted so nice, I cannot put it into words. omnomonomonomnomn! is all I can say ๐Ÿ˜€

Lunch/dinner:
juicing 2 004

2 celery sticks
2 apples
2ย zucchini
1/2 lemon juice

I have to say I was quite surprised how it came out. It’s not bad, not bad at all, unless you really hate celery because that flavour is quite dominant even over the two courgettes. I think a wee bit of ginger wouldn’t hurt, or more lemon! I just couldn’t be bothered going to my room to get another one, otherwise I would’ve…. ๐Ÿ˜›

AND! SUCCESS so far as to not eat anything!! Using up the storage, I assume, because am not feeling more exhausted than usual at this time of the evening after a 7am start. Feeling utterly nourished and good. And happy! So happy!!! :))))

Juicing day 1

It’s that time of the year that something exciting is happening – with the Veggie Society at university we are having a Juicing Challenge, which means we juice at least twice a day and then eat once if feeling like it. And it started today! So I plan to keep a ‘photo-diary’ of what juices I drink throughout the ten days we’re doing this.

Day one has been DELICIOUS! Just having my ‘dinner’ ๐Ÿ™‚

Breakfast:

Juice 1
4 beetroots
4 carrots
1cm ginger
AMAAAAZING!! I loooove beetroot! Is soo nice! And ginger gives it just the right kick!

Lunch:
Lunch

6 tomatoes
2 celery sticks
2cm ginger

It’s not bad, but I wouldn’t name it my favourite either. But definitely a good combination in any case! Ginger is again giving really nice addition!

Dinner:

Dinner

2 handfuls of spinach
1 orange

I was really surprised about how good it is! It gave a little but I didn’t want to waste too much spinach either just now and have a huge dinner ๐Ÿ˜›
I would imagine a bit of ginger would be nice there as well ๐Ÿ˜›
